The Payroll Specialist/Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all functions associated in the preparation and processing of the District’s semi-monthly payroll; tracking and payment of taxes and contracted benefits, payroll/liability reconciliation, administering benefit programs including ACA compliance, coordinating and managing hiring procedures, and completing various reports as needed. Additional Human Resources responsibilities include over-seeing the District’s School Board Policies, maintenance of personnel files, processing background checks, and recording employee absences (Full job description available online).
