FOLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS VOCAL MUSIC TEACHER/CHOIR DIRECTOR Foley Public Schools is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Vocal Music Teacher available beginning with the 2016-17 school year. Grade levels taught may vary depending on staff assignment, but will include 7th-12th grade choirs. he successful candidate will enjoy excellent facilities and a supportive environment. Foley High School and Intermediate Schools are connected, therefore no travel is needed between campuses. Preference will be given to candidates with experience. Candidates must possess or be able to demonstrate ability to obtain appropriate licensure prior to the beginning of the 2016-17 school year. Coaching and/or Advisor positions are also available but are not a requirement for this position. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Master Agreement between Foley Public Schools and Foley United Educators.

Duties and Responsibilities: *Teach and case manage students receiving special education services as part of our K-3 special education team. Health-Physical Education Teacher

School Psychologist – Special Education (2205)

The School Psychologist provides educational evaluations and consultation tochildren, parents, teachers, and staff regarding the prevention and/orinterventions which impact the education of students. Specific job duties include- -Individual cognitive, academic and emotional/social assessments forstudents with disabilities to ensure that students meet state and federaleligibility requirements for special education services. -Assessing students in order to determine eligibility for special educationservices or continuing need for special education services. -Ensures that proper procedures, methods and timelines are followed inaccordance with federal laws, Minnesota statutes, and other guidelines. -Consultation to special and regular education personnel on programs forstudents with disabilities -Assist in development of and provide continued support in students’Individual Education Programs (IEP’s), including the development ofFunctional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Positive BehaviorIntervention Plans (PBIP). -Participate in site-based Problem Solving Teams to develop interventionstrategies and supports. -Assist with school crisis prevention and crisis intervention and recovery(PREPaRE).

-Provide direct instruction to students in the areas of speech and communication as outlined on their IEP. -Consult with other staff members on the successful implementation of communication strategies and assistive devices within the educational setting. -Complete speech/communication assessment on identified students. -Complete the written documents related to speech services (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Progress Reports, etc.). -Attend and sometimes facilitate IEP meetings for assigned students. -Provide case management services for assigned students.
