Special Education EBD Teacher

Edina Public Schools has a Special Education Teaching position available at Countryside Elementary beginning in August 2016.

-Provide direct instruction, consultation and assessments for students with disabilities (Kindergarten through age 21 based upon assigned caseload). -Perform age appropriate educational assessments with students. -Develop, write and implement appropriate IEPs -Working in a team setting, provide effective educational opportunities for all students in the classroom, which will assist them in achieving their individual goals and objectives. -Along with other team members, plan and implement learning activities and strategies for all assigned students. -Model appropriate adult/student interaction -Maintain appropriate records/documentation as required by Minnesota Department of Education -Communicate and coordinate with families for optimal educational benefit for the students. -Participate in scheduled team meetings for ongoing collaboration with teachers, therapists and assistants.

Edina Public Schools has a 0.25 FTE Speech/Language Pathologist position available at Countryside Elementary beginning in August 2016.
