Facilities Specialist – Health & Safety/Deferred Maintenance District Education Center For specific information contact Joe McGough at [email protected] Position Start Date: 5/1/2016 Days/Hours: Full time position (8 hrs/day; 260 days/year) Classification: Professional Technical Banded/Graded: C-4-1 Salary: $56,515.00 Responsible To: Buildings and Grounds Manager Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree with major in Science, Public Health or related field, or comparable experience * Graduate degree in Industrial Safety of Industrial Hygiene preferred * Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State and Local Health & Safety regulations * Strong communication skills including writing, speaking and listening Duties – (See website for full job description) Coordinate District 112 Health and Safety programs and Emergency Response planning. Assist with administration of district deferred maintenance program, construction project management, and facilities management software systems maintenance.
