ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The Badger School District’s main office is located in Badger, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 230 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

Previous superintendent experience is not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  A competitive compensation and benefits package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, evaluates the educational needs of assigned students and in some cases, families; provides and evaluates appropriate instructional interventions and curriculum; monitors, documents and reports student progress; and provides parent support services. The Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing will travel between districts, work as a team member for evaluations and services. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Special Education, Occupational Therapists (OT) will lead the process in the development, implementation, and coordination of the school district’s occupational therapy program for students with disabilities or physical/mental impairments. This will be done through development of individualized programming based on occupational performance deficits in activities of daily living, including: personal care, interaction skills, community integration, work, and communication.
