Regular teacher contract start date is August 19, 2024
Additional paid days through the summer of 2024 to assist with family meetings and curriculum set-up
Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. Regional Funding Coordinator
This is a full-time shared position between Southeast Service Cooperative and the City of Farmington. The position will be housed at the Southeast Service Cooperative in Rochester and work also with the City of Farmington. Most of the required work can be done remotely.
Under limited supervision, this position will identify, apply, and coordinate funding opportunities to build on and capitalize on current initiatives. This position will serve as a technical expert for staff, partners, and members looking to attain outside funding sources through grants, sponsorships, legislation, collaborative partnerships, new services, state and federal funding, etc. This position will direct the activities of grant writing, grant reporting, and researching grant opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels as they relate to grants programs. Additionally, this position will develop financial reporting systems, conduct grant administration training sessions, and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate grant writing, sponsorship and partnership development, and initiation of new funding strategies. Coordinate with appropriate staff to develop and articulate proposed projects and initiatives. Research potential funders and make contact to build relationships and secure resources for programs. Complete and submit grant applications for high-need initiatives.
- Coordinate grant implementation. As needed, provide project management by facilitating and directing project activities. Ensure technical outcome deadlines are met. Facilitate working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full scope of work is implemented. Monitor grant partner performance.
- Develop reporting system. Manage and reconcile ongoing financial requirements and activity for awarded grants. Develop and maintain databases and systems for recording and tracking grants proposals. Work with grant partners and other stakeholders to write and submit accurate and timely reports. Create reports to share information on outcome data and impact related to grant activity.
- Serve as a technical expert. Provide technical assistance and general support for regional schools and local government units applying for grants, including trainings, general support, template development for common grants, review and refinement, etc. Facilitate input-gathering, interpretation, and training, and provide consultative support for federal, state, and/or community funding sources and mechanisms. Interpret funding agency regulations and requirements when involved with grant proposals.
- Participate in planning meetings with other staff and outside organizations. Maintain skills and expertise in marketing and business development through research and training opportunities.
Middle School Physical Education/Health/Adapted Teacher
Job Summary:
This position would include but not limited to classroom instruction in physical education, health, and adapted physical education. The certified teacher delivers education classes centered around wellness topics and activities designed to promote students’ physical and emotional health and well-being. Students explore various topics that promote a healthy sense of self and a positive approach to fitness, nutrition, and healthy habits.
General Responsibilities
The teacher is a member of an interdisciplinary team and works collaboratively with colleagues to make decisions about team programming and supporting students through intervention and enrichment.
Special Education Teacher – Middle School (1.0 FTE)
Job Summary:
The certified SpEd teacher works with parents and regular education teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs designed to support the growth of special education students. The teacher also develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, and evaluates and assesses both instructional material and student performance. The special education teacher interprets student progress and routinely communicates with parents and the IEP team to share student progress toward their goals, as well as strengths, weaknesses, and/or programs.
Superintendent
Position Description
The Alden-Conger Public Schools is seeking a Superintendent as of July 1, 2024. The Alden-Conger Superintendent also provides administrative services to the Glenville-Emmons School District. Candidates must possess licensure as a Superintendent in the State of Minnesota or demonstrate their ability to secure licensure by July 1, 2024. Previous experience as a superintendent is preferred but not required.
Alden Conger Public Schools Office is located in Alden, Minnesota approximately 15 miles from Albert Lea and close to Interstate 90. The school district serves approximately 490 students from Pre-K through grade 12. The students are served in one school site at Alden.
Glenville-Emmons Public School is located in Glenville, Minnesota in Freeborn County. The school is located in Glenville, MN and is approximately 10 miles from Albert Lea and Interstate 35W. The school district serves about 250 students at the Glenville School site.
