Worthington District 518 Community Education is seeking an Early Childhood (EC) teacher. Preference will be given to individuals who hold or qualify for a licensure in Pre-Kindergarten Early Childhood Education or B-3rd grade. Employment responsibilities include planning and facilitating educational activities for children ages 3-5 and supervising classroom educational assistants. Worthington Learning Center 10th-12th Grade Credit Recovery Night School
Worthington ISD 518 is seeking to hire teachers for its 2022-2023 Learning Center Credit Recovery Night School Teaching positions. Teachers will provide academic services for students going into 10th-12th grades (up to age 21) at the Learning Center. The program runs Monday through Thursday from September 2022 to May 2023. Classes begin and end within each quarter, so teacher schedules can be created to work around other seasonal employment. Applicants must have a valid Minnesota teaching license in K-12 or 7-12. Teachers will earn $34.00/hour and must have a valid Minnesota teaching license. Please specify preferred subject area on application.
Teachers will be expected to utilize technology in the night school instruction. This will include uploading curriculum to Schoology for learning and assessments. Instructional tools may include videos, power points, discussions, and worksheets. Students will be expected to log into Schoology upon arrival to track their instructional time in the building.
