Special Education Teacher-Saints Academy/Saints Online (2646)
Location/Program Description: The person hired for this position will provide Special Education services and case management to students in two unique programs; Saints Academy and Saints Online. Saints Academy is a small community based alternative program for students in grades 9-12 who, for a variety of reasons, are not being successful in the traditional high school setting. Saints Online is an off-site option for resident students in grades 3-12 to access learning online and work towards diploma completion. Both programs are in operation at the Crossroads School & Vocational Center (CSVC) in St. Francis. Primary service provision, programming, and case management will be for on-site Saints Academy students -Provide direct special education services for students who have disabilities -Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers regarding students on IEPs. -Provide work direction and support to the assigned Educational Assistant. -Perform educational assessments of students as required. -Develop, write and implement IEPs for assigned caseload. -Ensure that due process requirements are being followed. -Create behavior plans and incentive programs for students that encourage attendance, participation, and overall progress towards IEP goals and objectives.

Reading/Math Intervention Instructor – St. Francis Elementary School (2647)
