The Mahtomedi School District hosts a 3,200-student population and is located in the northeast metropolitan area; which comprises an E-2 Elementary, 3-5 Elementary, Middle School grades 6-8, High School grades 9-12 along with a Transition program for students aged 18-21.

The Middle School serves approximately 850 students and 75 staff. This position collaborates with a team of six other principals and an administrative leadership team in the District.

Coordinator of Special Education

Early Childhood PreK 3 Teacher

An Early Childhood Teacher for PreK 3 is responsible for providing instruction for all 3 year old programming for Columbia Heights Public Schools. There are four PreK-3 classes, two meet twice a week and two meet three times a week. However, during the 2020-2021 school year the schedule is subject to change. PreK curriculum is aligned with PreK 4.

There are parent-teacher conferences twice a year (fall and spring) with each of these classes and parent involvement responsibilities with all four classes. Curriculum aligned with district and state standards are expected, along with assessment of student progress and collaboration with other PreK teachers.
