Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Math Education.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2024, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Evaluate and assess student academic, functional, and behavioral progress; Function as IEP Manager to assigned students and complete all due process requirements. Direct the work of Educational Assistants, and collaborate with other service providers and educators. Communicates with parents/guardians.

Scheduled days/hours: will be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties: Attend workshops prior to the start of the school year. Participate in Family Conferences. Work with the PLC team. Establish positive learning community and classroom routines. Provide instruction for reading, math, writing, and social studies. Also, provide social-emotional lessons using the curriculum. Complete report cards at the quarter and conduct conferences with families during the conference window. Communicate effectively with staff and families.

West High School
There is a full-time (1.00 FTEs) High School Counselor position available at West High School beginning August 2024 for the 2024-25 school year.
Summary of Duties:
High School Counselors apply their professional training in schools to support students’ mental health, and maximize achievement and success. School Counselors must be licensed and have a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from a CACREP accredited school.
