Qualifications Required:
MN licensure in Physical Education is required.

Salary Range:
$49,591 – $88,577 (based on the MTA salary schedule)

A position is available for a full-time (1.00 FTEs) K-5 Elementary Art Teacher at Mankato Area Public Schools beginning August 11, 2025, for the 2025-26 school year.

Summary of Duties:
Mankato Area Public Schools seeks an inspiring elementary art teacher who is responsible for teaching art to students in grades K-5 and assists the staff of the school in the improvement and appreciation of art instruction. Candidates should help students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and creativity throughout art education. This position does require travel between Mankato area elementary school locations to provide general art instruction.

Qualifications Required:
MN licensure in Visual Arts is required.

Salary Range:

Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education).  Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Spanish Education.

Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2025, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply.  Application deadline:  until filled.
