Food Service Assistant Head Cook

Assists the Head Cook by helping direct and oversee the activities of building Food Services staff in the daily operation of the School Nutrition Programs. Works with the Head Cook to complete preparation of main and alternate line(s) menu items for the customer service line, satellite and special events, as needed.  Completes the baking function as assigned by the Head Cook.  Assists with the maintenance of the food service facility and equipment in order to comply with federal, state, local and departmental requirements.  Completes assigned Daily Food Production, Food Temperature and other pertinent records.  Communicates promptly and works harmoniously with the Head Cook, FS Staff, Students and District Staff. Functions as Head Cook in the absence of the Head Cook.

Business Services Specialist

POSITION AVAILABLE:  Due to growth, SWWC is looking to hire an additional Business Services Specialist – This position would specialize in payroll services.

 

POSITION LOCATION:  Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement in Marshall, MN.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Business Services Specialist assists member districts with payroll procedures and processes. This position may also provide support services, training and assistance in the usage of the SMART systems accounting software.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Associate’s Degree and minimal experience in a job-related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field that enables performance of all aspects of this position. The applicant must also have a valid Driver’s License.

 

SALARY: This full-time position begins 06/02/2025 with a salary range $56,516-$80,492, depending on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. The role includes excellent benefits, details of which can be found here.

Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Job Summary:

The Worthington School District 518 is seeking a Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. The position coordinates curriculum alignment, develops and organizes staff development, assessment and projects related to curriculum and instruction. Learning and achievement for all students is the primary focus.

Position will focus on either the Primary grades of PreK-5 or the Secondary grades of 6-12 dependent on the candidate’s experience and skills. Positions will share District Assessment Coordinator responsibilities.

Development and Implementation

In coordination with building level administration and leadership teams, develops and implements curriculum, assessment, and staff development initiatives. Acts as an instructional leader to work closely with principals, building leadership teams, curriculum teams and various committees to address the needs of the student learning community. ●       Provide instructional leadership and ensure high standards of student achievement
