Science Teacher (1.0) at Faribault Middle School

A full-time (1.0 FTE) Science teacher at Faribault Middle School. The position will teach multiple grades in science. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students are challenged and empowered to learn and grow. This position will commence with the 2025-2026 school year.

 Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Implement the provided curriculum using evidenced-based, high-leverage practices. Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously improve their knowledge and skills in content and pedagogy. Collaborate with colleagues to reflect on teaching practices and student achievement. Establish and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and collaboration. Knowledge of AVID strategies is a plus. Support and follow School Board policies and procedures.

Kindergarten Teacher

Class I Paraprofessional Secure Entrance Monitor-High School

Speech/Language Pathologist

Full-time Speech / Language Pathologist.  This position commences on approximately 8/25/25 with the start of the 25-26 school year.

Qualifications:           
Knowledge and experience providing speech/language services to students.  Ability to administer assessments to determine qualification based on Minnesota Criteria for speech/language services.  Ability to write IEP/IFSP goals and keep accurate records.  Knowledge of due process procedures.  Ability to collect, interpret and report data. Excellent communication skills.  Ability to work in a highly collaborative model.  Ability to collaborate with general and special education teachers regarding students’ communication needs..  All candidates will be considered.

School Counselor

Responsible To:  Student Services Administrator

Position Purpose: Provide same service to non-public partner school students in grades 7-12 as are available to public school students in Eastern Carver County Schools.  Services include academic guidance, assisting with personal problem solving, and supporting academic, social, and emotional success.
Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills:  See attachment.
Licensure Requirements:  Valid State of Minnesota licensure in Secondary Guidance and Counseling

Salary:  $52,851 – $104,522 for a 185 day contract @ a 1.0 FTE  (Salary will be prorated based on contract days in assignment and FTE, education, and experience).
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA). Currently under negotiations.

Special Education Paraprofessional

Job Description:         Special Education Paraprofessional position.  This position will be for 7 hours per day 5 days per week to provide support and supervision of level III special needs students with developmental cognitive disabilities at Faribault Middle School.  Approximate rate of pay starts at $21.25.  The position commences on approximately 8/26/25 with the start of the 25-26 school year.

This position will involve substituting in the health office when needed under supervision of the licensed school nurse, to assist in paraprofessional activities related to health office services, to work within the framework of school laws, District policy, and first aid/CPR standards, and to do related work as required. Must have ability to take responsibility for supervising students, speak clearly and distinctly, demonstrate patience, warmth and liking for children, perform routine record keeping duties, understand and carry out oral and written instructions, render preliminary first aid steps, learn and perform specialized health procedures, and maintain District-approved First Aid and CPR Certificates.
