Dual-Immersion Spanish-English Kindergarten Teacher

Qualifications:   

  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English – Proof of proficiency may be required
  • Must be able to build strong, positive relationships with families and students
  • Must have experience with teaching language through content

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Student Success Coordinator, district literacy coach(s) and curriculum to develop a strong immersion kindergarten program and classroom
  • Teach language and content in Spanish 100% of the school day
  • Work hours from 7:30-3:30 daily
  • Regular communication with guardians on student progress

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. District sites include one early childhood/Kindergarten school, two elementary schools 1-5, one middle school 6-8, one high school 9-12, one area learning center 9-12 and one education center for adult education.

Daily Pay Range: $259.04 – $485.53 depending on experience.

Special Education Coordinator (multiple positions)

This position plays a key role in shaping special education services, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting the implementation of best practices. The supervisor will collaborate with district administrators, educators, and families to improve student outcomes and enhance program effectiveness.

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates students who have a variety of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, sensorimotor, or cardiopulmonary conditions or needs that affect their ability to access school.  The PT is responsible for developing, implementing, and/or monitoring therapeutic programs and providing consultation to school staff and parents.

 

Speech and Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Speech & Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services directly to qualifying students based upon state and federal requirements in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and voice.  Conducts speech and language assessments of student needs; interprets informal and standardized communicative measures; and participates in the development of individualized educational plans for students with eligible communicative needs.
