Position Purpose:  The Director of Finance and Operations is the chief financial officer for the district and as such is responsible for managing its budgetary and financial affairs. The position has overall responsibility for the operations of the Finance Department which includes payroll, accounting, accounts payable and purchasing.  This position also has overall responsibility for buildings and grounds, food service and transportation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field – Master’s degree preferred

Elementary Principal

North Branch Area Public Schools (NBAPS) offers a well-rounded education to bring out each student’s gifts and talents. With programs unique to the area, elementary learners benefit from programming that exposes students to a vast array of learning opportunities.

The elementary experience at NBAPS has so much to offer in this critical phase of learning. Our literacy programs provides a strong foundation to secure a better future for children by helping them improve their literacy skills. An emphasis on “number sense” and problem solving in math are key to our curriculum design. NBAPS also has many hands-on learning opportunities, including art, music, physical education and Spanish, as well as science and engineering modules in its Project Lead the Way curriculum.

Job Summary: Implement the policies of the school board under the direction of the superintendent of schools; lead and direct the instructional program and supervise personnel within the individual school, perform a variety of duties involved in elementary school operations including instruction and school planning.

Start Date: July 1, 2021. This is a 12-month position.

1.0 FTE EL Teacher – Faribault Area Learning Center

High School Counselor or Social Worker 1.0 FTE

Essential Functions:    A full-time (1.0 FTE) Counselor or Social Worker – Faribault High School.  Facilitate student assessments.  Manage a small mental health caseload, responsibilities  include individual and group counseling; establish and maintain communication with parents/guardians; and make referrals to, and conduct case-planning with, community services/resources.  Write and facilitate 504 Accommodation plans for assigned caseload.  Assist with attendance monitoring, to include communication with students and parents/guardians.  Assist with managing Change to Chill program/space.
