Position Description

The NRHEG Public School District #2168 is seeking a Superintendent as of July 1, 2021 or as soon hereafter as is practical. Candidates must possess licensure as a Superintendent in the State of Minnesota or demonstrate their ability to secure licensure by July 1, 2021. Previous experience as a superintendent is preferred but not required.

NRHEG Public Schools is located 70 miles south the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area on US Highway 35. The school district serves approximately 900 students from Pre-K through grade 12. The students are served in two school sites.

Job Requirements

  1. The ability to help the school board plan strategically
  2. Provide solid day to day management of resources and personnel
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Understanding of school finance
  5. Active community involvement
