Job Functions
Patrol the hallways and stairs ensuring students are in class.
Monitor front door, bathroom and student passing time.
Check school grounds for violations of school rules (i.e., smoking, truancy etc.).
Patrol the parking lots for violations (i.e., speeding, parking, and vandalism).
Assist students with locker problems.
Monitor the building and grounds.
Provide lunchroom supervision support.
Monitor security cameras.
Be a positive example by modeling respectful behavior and using problem solving strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

of state and school. Adapts material to accommodate student ability level and learning style.
Lectures, demonstrates, and uses audiovisual teaching aids as well as other teaching methods to present
subject matter to class.
Prepares, administers, and corrects tests, and records results.
Assigns lessons, corrects papers, and hears oral presentations.
Teaches rules of conduct.
Maintains order of students.
Counsels pupils when adjustment and academic problems arise.
Discusses pupils’ academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements with parents and specialist(s), if
necessary.
Keeps attendance and grade records as required by school.
Coordinates class field trips.
Participates in faculty and professional meetings, open houses, educational conferences, and teacher
training workshops.
