Position Summary:

The teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues, families, and students. Teacher will understand and model best instructional practices, serve as a member of a Professional Learning Community, and ensure high levels of student learning. Candidate must have a learner, inclusionary, and equity-focused mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment.

Qualifications:

-Valid MN Elementary Teaching license.

-Student-Centered

-Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels.

-Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.

-Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results.

FTE/Schedule:
1.0 FTE

Position is from August 25, 2025, to November 20, 2025.

Rate of Pay: 
Based on candidate’s experience and education per the OEA Master Agreement *pending contract negotiations

Eligible for Health and Dental Insurance (single or family) after 12 weeks of uninterrupted service as a long-term substitute for the same teacher or for any other professional covered by the OEA Master Agreement.

Job Description:  Full-time (1.0 FTE), Band Teacher at Faribault High School.  This position commences with the 2025-2026 school year on August 25, 2025.

 Qualifications: Faribault Public Schools is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE Band Director. Job duties include one section of HS band, HS lessons,College Now: Wind Ensemble, and College Now: Percussion Ensemble.  Extra duties include beginning band camp (August), HS Pep Band, and potential of other co-curricular ensembles.  We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work as a part of a team of band directors and K-12 Music Department.

Special Education Teacher – DCD

Position Summary:
This Special Education teacher position is part of Owatonna High School’s special education transition program. The teacher works within a team structure to provide specialized instruction to students with multicategorical disabilities. The team structure includes general education teachers, other special education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administration. The teacher may co-teach within the general education setting or teach individuals or small groups within the special education setting. The teacher plans jointly with the general education teacher to provide the accommodations and modifications necessary in order for the student to access and make progress within the general education curriculum.

Position Requirements:
Valid MN Special Education Teaching License, preferably DCD
