We are currently seeking an applicant for a 1.0 FTE Bilingual Grade 1 Teacher for our Immmersion Program at Lake Elmo Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year. Candidates should understand and have experience with cultural competency and have a passion for working with and servicing diverse populations. Native Spanish speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

This class is accountable for administering Safe Schools levy allocations within the district, the Local Collaborative Time Study (LCTS) process; Social Emotional Learning; school-based mental health services involving over 35 agencies and consultants; Hennepin County partnerships including the ALC Plus project; federal, state, and local mental health and social emotional learning grants; and grant proposals seeking additional funding for projects related to areas of responsibility; and special projects.
