FTE:  1.0 FTE
Banded/Graded:  C-5-2
Responsible To:  Building Principal; Special Education Director/Supervisor
Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Special Education; SLD or ABS preferred (any special education license will be considered)

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Background check will be conducted.

Secondary Career Pathways, Curriculum and Staff Development Coordinator

This position is designed to lead the equitable development, implementation, improvement and evaluation of the District’s secondary curriculum and staff development as well as pathways to career and postsecondary. Career pathways will provide opportunities for students to experience career fields, earn industry recognized credentials, and expand opportunities for students to earn college credit while in high school. This work requires collaboration with district and school leaders to create and maintain a culture of collaboration, collective inquiry, evidence-based decision making, continuous improvement, and equity.

General Education Paraprofessional

The Education Paraprofessional monitors students, supports in behavior and discipline needs, and works with students to reinforce material that is introduced by the teacher.  The Education Paraprofessional position is 6 hours per day, school days only, at the Alternative Learning Center.
