Description:
Boys High School Assistant Lacrosse Coach. 15 hours/week after school in the evenings.

Job Summary:
The Assistant Coach will support all phases of the program.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
•         Recruiting participants
•         Managing a very large roster
•         Helping to coordinate transportation
•         Practice planning and equipment.
Great communication skills
Past experience working with young adults in a lacrosse setting

Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:
Lifting, pulling, standing, sitting, etc.

Assistant Boys Hockey Coach

Description:
Assistant Boys Hockey coach. 15-18 hours/week Monday through Saturday.

Job Summary:
Assistant will work with the Boys Hockey program under the direction of the Head Coach.  During practices will instruct, manage, and teach overall on ice and off ice training drills.  During games will work with the Varsity and JV teams completing duties assigned by the Head Coach.

 

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree and educational experience preferred.

Previous experience as a player and/or coach preferred.

 

Working Conditions:
Ice rink environment.  Ability to teach/coach hockey skills.

Robotics Coaches

Robotics Coaches. 10-15 hours/week.

Job Summary:
Hands on support with students building robots
Manage a large number of students to accomplish very technical tasks
Ability to support students working within a very strict criteria based on the annual Robotic Game
Manage, facilitate and create relationships with corporations that support Robotics

Qualifications:
Background, knowledge and previous experience with Robotics program preferred – all applicants will be reviewed.
Strong desire with work with High School aged kids

Special Ed Paraprofessional

Description:
Special Ed Paraprofessional. 6.5 hours a day on student days beginning September 2018.

Jackson Elementary
East Middle School
High School
Sweeney Elementary

Job Summary:
Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).

Qualifications:
High School diploma, prefer 2 years of post-secondary training or AA degree in child development.
Past experience with students is helpful.
Training for specific needs of the students in the program will be provided by the district.

Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.

ECFE Parent Educator

Applicant must provide parent education and support for parents and children served in the Mahtomedi Early Childhood Family Education Program.   Parent Educator is responsible for planning, implementing parent education classes, developing lesson plans, and implementing curriculum to various age groups.

Dean of Students

Full-time Dean of Students position at Forest Lake Sr. High, beginning the 2018-19 school year. To provide student service support for students grades 9-12. Position includes a  15 days extended contract, and a stipend for additional duties.
