POSITION: Full-time Industrial Technology Teacher for Jordan Middle School.

SUMMARY: Jordan Public Schools is looking for a visionary educator to not only prepare, but equip students with the skills necessary for success in high school and beyond.  Jordan Public Schools is recognized nationally for innovation in best practice instructional strategies and has received national awards for winning classroom and building design.  The Jordan Public Schools facilities include multiple flexible learning spaces across the district, providing endless opportunities for students and staff. These spaces include a dedicated Computer Aided Drafting Lab (CAD) with multiple printing options to include 3D printers and an ink plotter. In addition, the building boasts separate state of the art woodworking, metals and machining equipment including a new industry standard Haas CNC machine.  Currently, Project Lead the Way and Whitebox Learning resources are being used. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to utilize these and other resources to instruct students. Candidates will be encouraged to expand the curriculum and a portion of the position will be to grow relationships and explore opportunities with local manufacturing and engineering firms.

School Social Worker – Secondary

School Social Worker – Secondary

A full-time (1.00 FTEs) position as a School Social Worker  – Secondary is available beginning with the 2018-19 school year.  MN licensure as a School Social Worker is required.  Application deadline: Until filled.

Summary of Duties: The School Social Worker will provide behavior consultation and support for students serviced in our Futures Program.  The School Social Worker will work closely with the teachers in creating programming, behavior intervention plans and providing day to day student support either individually or in group settings.

Qualifications Required: School Social Worker license.  Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
