Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2018, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Application deadline: until filled.
Teaching Fellow positions are available in the following Professional Development School (PDS) participating districts:

Job Description
Twin Cities Academy is seeking a 0.5 FTE middle school/high school ELL teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The position is for the morning from 8 a.m. to 12, and can be combined with an afternoon paraprofessional position to create a full time position.
Qualifications
Required: MN Teaching License, or the ability to obtain a waiver. Twin Cities

Job Description
Twin Cities Academy is seeking a full-time long term school counseling sub for the 2018-2019 school year. The long term sub position starts 08/06/2018 and goes through 11/02/2018.
Qualifications
Required: MN School Counseling License

Job Responsibilities:
Works with all students in grades 6-12
Provides support to students in the classroom, small group and individual counseling settings
Teaches Senior Seminar 1 period a day
Meets individually with all Seniors to help with college applications
Provides a college readiness program that includes college visits and post-secondary planning
Collaborates with staff and families to help support student needs
Tracks academic progress of students and meets with students who are struggling academically
Intakes all new high school records, tracks graduation credits and sends transcripts to colleges
