The Director of Business Services serves as a central role in maintaining the school’s business and financial systems. This position is responsible for oversight of accounting, payroll, purchasing, and federal/state/local grants. The Director of Business Services will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that the operational functions, including finance and legal compliance support the financial success of the district. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Business Services will perform all duties necessary to support the budget functions, fiscal reporting, and coordination of workflow and staff operations within the Business Office.

Special Education Teacher
*Ensure that adequate structure is in place to meet the emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of learners with IEPs. *Plan and facilitate IEP team meetings *Implement a variety of intervention strategies including behavior interventions to enhance achievement and pro-social skills of learners with IEPs. *Work well with persons of different cultures, races, and socio-economic backgrounds. *Evidence of team-based, creative, flexible, student-centered performance, and a professional demeanor, ability to deal with challenging behaviors in a calm, consistent and patient manner. These approaches are intended to go beyond the detection of interfering behaviors into developing pro-social instructional opportunities. *Work efficiently, cooperatively, and effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and with a variety of groups including students, parents, general education staff, behavior specialists, and outside agencies *Share accommodations and modifications with general education teachers. *Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. *Develop program components to meet student needs on a continual basis. *Perform all instructional duties required of a classroom teacher. *Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, schools, parents, and outside agencies about students’ special education needs, utilizing these linkages to develop effective school program components. *Adhere to due process timelines and complete special education paperwork in compliance with MDE standards. *Convene and lead staff meetings and parent conferences on behalf of students with IEPs. *Refer, initiate, and write student evaluations as appropriate. *Participate in child study meetings at the program level. *Other job related duties as assigned.
English Language Arts Teacher
The Language Arts Teacher is responsible to collaborate with parents, teachers, social workers, and other related service providers to assist with classroom instruction, maintain necessary due process paperwork and provide necessary services for all students who have been identified. The Special Education Teacher may supervise one or more paraprofessionals for student support. They may also co-teach classes, deliver direct instruction based on IEP goals, and provide social skills instruction and resource room support.
