This position will include teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry to 7th and 8th grade students. Performs difficult professional work providing instruction ensuring all students within the academic discipline area learn and achieve academic excellence, achieve self mastery and social competency and develop their own missions (purpose) and vision for a positive future and an environment favorable to learning, teaching a broad range of subjects or specialized subject matter(s), teaching special needs students, motivating students to achieve maximum potential, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building Principal.

Edina Public Schools has a Social Studies teaching position at Edina High School beginning approximately October 16, 2017 at .8 FTE for first semester and position will move to 1.0 FTE during second semester.
