POSITION:Full-time Activities Director/Middle School Assistant Principal or Dean of Students. Position will work 220 days per year. SUMMARY:Provide complex professional work planning and coordinating the execution of activities, athletics and special projects. Provide support, structure, and oversight in District’s PBIS model. Evaluate certified and/or non-certified staff using the District’s Teacher Development and Evaluation model. Evaluate coaches and advisers using a valid assessment tool. Provide administrative support and program oversight as directed by the building principal.

Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building Principal. Specific Tasks: The successful candidate will provide remedial instruction to grades 3, 4 and 5 in reading and math. They will progress monitor students weekly, they will teach in small groups, they will supervise an instructional assistant, and in addition, a reading and math corp members. They will enter data, they will analyze data, they will determine eligibility, and they will do their tasks as assigned.

ISLA is seeking substittute teachers. These are on going opportunities. Substitute teachers must be willing to work on a day-to-day or long-term basis, and be willing to be called late at night or early in the morning for a job that same day.
