The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for full time Early Childhood Preschool Teachers districtwide beginning the 2017-2018 school year. These positions will provide high quality safe and energizing classroom environments for 3 & 4 years old students in the Richfield Public Schools preschool program. You will also plan, manage and implement research based curricula to ensure developmentally appropriate instruction that aligns with early childhood domains for individual student success. Job responsibilities: *Deliver large and small group instruction that result in academic and social emotional growth. *Conduct program approved assessments and progress monitoring using results to drive instruction. *Write lesson plans and create learning environments that are developmentally appropriate and promote development and learning in all domains. *Keep parents informed of program expectations and activities as well as their individual child’s progress. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: *Ability to develop and deliver lesson plans that address all early childhood domains. *Excellent communication skills with children and adults. *Ability to work well in a team. *Strong understanding of children and families from diverse backgrounds. *Excellent in assessing and interpreting results for progress monitoring. *Two years experience working with young children from diverse backgrounds. *Spanish fluency preferred. Aspen Academy is currently hiring a 1.0 FTE Band/Orchestra K-8 Teacher for the 2017-18 school year. Your duties would include various general music classes, private lessons, and band/orchestra rehearsals.
