Responsibilities *Provide parent education and support for parents and children served in the Mahtomedi Early Childhood Family Education Program *Plan and implement structured parent education classes *Work cooperatively with the Early Childhood Teacher and support staff to plan integrated lessons *Develop lesson plans and implement curriculum for various age groups *Model effective adult/child interaction *Serve as a resource to caregivers around parenting topics *Provide outreach, information and referral *Maintain up-to-date records according to program requirements *Participate in staff meetings and professional development as directed *Perform other related duties as assigned Skills Required *Working knowledge of Early Childhood Family Education philosophy, goals and objectives *Strong knowledge of early childhood development and family theory *Demonstrates strong knowledge of adult learning methods, group process and group facilitation skills *Knowledge of various curriculum models and materials, methods of instruction and ways of providing support to families *Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with children, parents and staff *Excellent communication , organizational and conflict resolution skills *Ability to work independently *Ability to utilize various forms of technology to enhance the program *Excellent interpersonal skills *Evidence of self-motivation, enthusiasm, patience, problem solving and flexibility *Strong written and verbal communication skills

Position Description: Candidates selected to fill the role of High School Engineering/Technology/Design Teacher Wayzata High School will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of Engineering/Technology/Design instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. In addition, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community. Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be licensed in Communications Technology Careers (code 300000). Ideal candidate would be interested in teaching Computer Science, Architecture, Multimedia/TV, and/or Engineering. Ideal candidates should have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners. Must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Must have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff. Must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring. Ideal candidate will have experience with teaching Engineering/Technology/Design with an emphasis on Computer Science/Programming and/or Broadcast/Media.
