Must have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff. Must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring. Ideal candidate will have experience with teaching Spanish to 6th-8thgrade students. EBD Teacher – Imprints Program

Provides instruction and behavioral interventions for students placed in the River Bend Imprints Program BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Participates as a team member in the planning and implementation of academic/treatment programs for individual students and their families. This includes consultation with school personnel, parents, and appropriate agencies regarding possible intervention strategies for students. 2.Serves as IEP manager for students assigned to the Imprints Program. This includes completion of all necessary due process forms and adherence to due process timelines and other requirements. 3.Provides academic instruction, social skills training and behavioral intervention consistent with each student’s IEP. 4.Participates as part of the team in determining appropriateness of placement of pupils within the Imprints Program. 5.Coordinates the daily activities and supervises Program Support Assistant(s). 6.Adheres to data privacy requirements and other policies as established by River Bend Education District. 7.Develops and designs curriculum which addresses student needs and is consistent with the mission of the Imprints Program. This should reflect, when possible, the curriculum requirements of the resident district. 8.Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Coordinator.
