The Minnesota Department of Corrections has an opening for a School Psychologist at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Following the established DOC Reintegration Protocol, facilitate the development and implementation of each youth’s education reintegration plan to help ensure his successful transition to a community-based educational or career technical setting after release from incarceration. -Coordinate the school’s multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) process to facilitate improved student performance. -Provide student support services through a variety of methods including intake planning, crisis intervention, academic and behavioral intervention support, classroom presentations, co-teaching, and in-service training. -Participate in the identification and coordinate the effective implementation of best practice educational interventions. -Screen and evaluate referred youth including selecting appropriate instruments, administering assessments, completing observations, and writing reports which state the evaluation findings and provide for educational program recommendations. Participate as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team, contributing evaluation findings and collaborating on the student’s education program. This position requires travel approximately 10% of the time and has contact with offenders. Compensation for the successful candidate will be commensurate with the level of education attained and number of years of prior teaching experience approved at the time of hire.

Reading Intervention Teacher (full-time 1.00 FTEs) Hoover Elementary School Hoover Elementary School has a position available for a full-time (1.00 FTEs) Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2016-17 school year.
