Graduate Teaching Fellowship
Openings 2016-17 Graduate Teaching Fellowships Minnesota State University, Mankato Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Elementary Education. Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2016, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Application deadline: April 15, 2016, or until filled. 2nd Grade Teacher
Fulfill all duties of a regular classroom instructor, which include but not limited to: literacy, math, science, social studies, and art instruction. Teachers are also expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate in PLCs and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
8th Grade Science Teacher
Provide academic instruction in an 8th grade science classroom. Teachers are expected to assess, monitor and adapt their instruction based on the individual needs of students. Teachers also participate on PLC’s and work with peers to enhance their instructional ability and to support each other.
Orchestra TEacher – Middle School
Minnehaha Academy is a Christian school and a ministry of the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church of America. Our mission is to provide a high quality education integrating the Christian faith and learning. Minnehaha Academy has an opening for a Middle School Orchestra teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. The FTE (full-time equivalency) will be 60%.
