Director of Technology Leadership
Job Summary: Provides leadership in identifying, assessing, and managing technology needs for the school district as a member of the cabinet and in collaboration with other stakeholders. Directs, coordinates, supervises, facilitates and performs all tasks and elements needed to effect comprehensive integration of appropriate technology into every facet of operations. Contributes to the infusion of educational technology into classrooms and administrative offices by providing highly motivating and professional leadership in all areas of technology planning and technology resource management. Duties and Responsibilities:*Provides leadership in all aspects of technology for the school district. *Serves as a member of, and collaborates with, the Cabinet and Superintendent in the development, refinement and execution of the district strategic plan, involving all stakeholders. *Leads district initiatives, collaborating across departments and functional areas, to support adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business, including those that improve teaching and learning. *Creates and supports cross-functional teams for needs assessment, decision-making, technology support, professional development and other aspects of the district technology program. *Supervises and supports a team of technology specialists to manage user accounts, end user hardware and enterprise information technology infrastructure including: data center, network and disaster recovery in a virtualized environment. to meet the goals of the strategic plan. *Provides a high level of customer service to district staff with the ability to problem solve situations and provide prompt incident resolution. *Facilitates the skill development of all employees in the operation of technology. Builds awareness among employees of available resources and the role of technology in the instructional process. *Develops and coordinates a broad range of technology-based resources, maximizing the availability and use of these resources. *Develops and administers the district technology budget and negotiates with vendors. *Performs other duties as assigned.
Administrator: Director of Health Services
Administrator: Director of Health Services 8 hours/day, 220 days/year Position begins March 1, 2016. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: Supervise employees within the District’s Health Services program Oversee Health Services budget for the district and non-public schools Supervise maintenance of health planning procedures for students Facilitate district’s Workers Compensation Program and manages staff injury program Oversee the district Wellness program and budget Provide orientation and staff development for the Health Services team Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and Interpersonal skills New Prague Area Schools is a consistently growing district of 3,900 students, Pre K through 12. School Readiness Teacher
LONG TERM SUB POSITION AVAILABLE FOR A PART-TIME SCHOOL READINESS TEACHER Starting around the beginning of March through the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year. This position has the potential to extend into the entire 2016-17 school year as well. This Fillmore Central School Readiness program meets on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8:15-11:15, Have a firm commitment to the student and parent/guardian. Must enjoy children, and be prepared to model positive methods of guidance and communication. Must be able to work with different type of students and families, including a wide variety of income levels, races, values, and lifestyles. Must be able to work with aides, ECSE, other staff, parents/guardians, and volunteers that are training and guiding as they work in the classroom.
