Essential Functions
The following identifies the primary and essential functions of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all duties. Some functions listed may be more prominent than others depending on organizational needs.

  • Promotes the research and implementation of the best practices and evidence-based social emotional learning, mental health, and behavioral interventions within the District.
  • Supervises the work of the Restorative Practices Coordinator, Chemical Health Coordinator, SEL Coordinators, and Program Coordinator.
  • Represents children’s mental health and chemical health on select district level, county, and state committees.
  • Implements and oversees grant initiatives in areas of responsibility.
  • Acts as clinical supervisor for school social workers within the district.
  • Liaison for school-based delivery model of mental health services by consultants and mental health professionals from private agencies.
  • Provides back up support for crisis needs within the district.
  • Leads district-wide PREPaRE teams and crisis planning work in collaboration with Health and Safety leader.
  • Revises and implements 360 team planning process for sites.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Finance Controller

Resource Teacher- Multiple positions

Special Education Teacher with ECSE Licensure- Multiple positions available

Essential Functions:

Deliver classroom instruction; implement lesson plans on instructional units; develop and determine methods, approaches and instructional units; maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.

Assess and evaluate student performance against lesson plans; determine the need for re-instruction or need for new approach; reinforce information previously taught in the classroom; determine grades for reporting purposes; monitor student performance and behaviors and determine how to approach bad behaviors.

Develop and plan instructional activities; develop and implement lesson plans personalized for individual student needs; assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs); implement student assessments and evaluate results; determine assessment process for instructional units; research topics and materials designed to improve instructional presentations.

Prepare for substitute teachers; communicate with parents and participate in parent/student conferences; participate and prepare for peer evaluation process.

Supervise students during the school day according to the established building schedule; provide indirect supervision during regular school days.

Collaborate with staff in evaluating individual student issues and approaches to instructional units; evaluate new teaching technologies and/or procedures.

Participate in meetings (building staff meetings, departmental meetings, grade level meetings, staff development, open house/orientation) as necessary or required; attend professional development activities.

Student Success Coach – TOSA

The Student Success Coach will lead, support, and develop plans for students identified as
needing specialized support for success. They will collaborate with building student support
teams, Teaching & Learning, and Building Equity Leadership Teams to develop support plans
for those who are experiencing academic, behavioral, social, and/or emotional challenges within
the school environment. Plans of support will include goal-setting, progress monitoring, and data
analysis of progress and performance. Along with support for students, this position will also
assist staff with implementing strategies to help all students be successful within the classroom.

Support for Students in Partnership with Teachers
● Collaborate with teachers and administration to assist students who demonstrate
behavioral, social and/or academic challenges in the classroom
● Partner with staff to utilize a data-based problem-solving approach and
evidence-based strategies to strengthen student engagement and support students
with accessing core instruction
● Assist teachers with the development and implementation of academic and/or
behavioral support plans for targeted groups of students
● Collaborate with teachers to plan, design, and co-teach mini-lessons during core
instruction across content areas
● Collaborate with teachers to assess and identify student needs to plan, design, and
provide targeted small group instruction and interventions or enrichment
● Participate in meetings to assist in identifying and coordinating intervention services
Support for Teachers & Staff
● Participate in building student support teams
● Support teachers with assessing and monitoring student progress
● Support teachers by providing and gradually releasing additional targeted small group
instruction and intervention or enrichment strategies to accelerate learning
