Principal Middle/High School – Alternative Learning Center
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the principal is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and effective management to ensure the overall success and growth of the Ivan Sand Community Middle and High School, an alternative learning center serving approximately 120 students in grades 6-12. The principal will collaborate with staff, students, parents, and the community to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and social development.
High School Industrial Technology Teacher
One full-time (1.0 FTE) Industrial Technology (Welding/Machinging) Teaching position is available beginning the 2024-25 school year at Forest Lake Area Senior High School. Candidates must have the ability to teach general welding and robotics.
School Social Worker or School Counselor
Provides early intervention and prevention services to children at risk of needing services and their families with the goal of improved academic achievement and improved social adjustment without eventual special education assessment and label.
High School Mathematics Teacher

Elementary School Principal
The principal needs to be a leader who will support the delivery and administration of District educational programs with the initial assignment to a 600 K-5 student elementary school with wonderful diversity. The principal’s responsibilities include assisting teachers in strengthening their knowledge base and core instructional skills; developing a safe and welcoming environment where all individuals are respected and to ensure that such practices support continued outstanding student achievement in a K-5 setting. The principal must provide leadership to carry out the district’s strategic plan. The principal must encourage parent involvement. The principal must also work with all staff and administrators to instill in our youth the community’s core values.
