CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY
This position performs all aspects of human resources. The specialist maintains excellence in aspects of the District HR functions.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Human Resources
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Recruitment and onboarding
· Non-certified staffing
· Maintains employee seniority lists
· Maintains probationary teacher list and tenure notices
· Oversee and maintain staff change list
· Sends annual paraprofessional letters
· Maintains and manages new employee paperwork
· Manages coaching/advisor staffing and contracts
· Creates and maintains job postings
· Sets up new employees in Skyward
· Manages district applicant software (currently AppliTrack)
· Maintains personnel files
· Processes payroll claim forms
· Conducts verification of employment for vendors
· Manages background check process
· Oversee I-9 process
· Oversees daily leave approvals
· Manages all sick leave donation process
· Assists in payroll process.
· Maintain HR Schoology information
· Assists in hiring process
· Oversee holiday schedule
· Monitors physical examination programs
· Oversees staffing assignments/changes- non-certified staff
· Provide employee info to union groups
· Frontline expert (AppliTrack)
· Para-Pro assessments
· Other duties as assigned
Elementary Special Ed. Paraprofessional
Chatfield Public Schools has an opening for an Elementary Paraprofessional for the 2023-2024 school year. Performs intermediate human support work assisting Early Childhood Family Education program teachers with individual students or small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Preschool Teacher and Community Education Director.

Early Childhood Family Education Cultural Facilitator
Job Description: ECFE Cultural Facilitator will partner with the HCI team to support the FFN grant. ECFE Cultural Facilitator will identify homes in Faribault city that serve children under 5 and provide monthly visits. Monthly visits would include group time (story, weather, counting, schedule, etc) and one activity focusing on alignment to the ECIPS. Parent materials would be provided to the caregiver to send home about what they did in group time. Materials to support continuation of activities in caregivers’ homes also provided. This position commences on January 8th, 2024 as a part of the 2023-24 School Year.
Schedule varies. Some weekend/evening commitments. 19 hours per week; additional possibilities may be feasible if full-time work is desired.
Essential Functions: Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our early childhood family education program, working with parents or caregivers of young children from birth through five years.
Work collaboratively with community partners and organizations that support child development and home visiting programs to provide early education.
Plan and lead child-centered group times in daycares and identified Friend-Family-Neighbor homes of children in care.
Collaborate and support caregivers in parent education around child development and early indicators of progress.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training.

It is preferred that the next leader has previous experience as a superintendent, executive director, or principal. It is not required.
SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation and benefits package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota Statutes.
