Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Long-term Substitute Fourth Grade Teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. The dates for the assignment are approximate – November 13, 2023 through February 20, 2024.

Position Dates: November 27, 2023 –  March 1, 2024
FTE:  1.0 FTE
Responsible To:  Building Principal

License Required: 9-12 License in Spanish, English/Language Arts, or Social Studies. Fluent Spanish speaker
Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills:  Must be fluent in Spanish. This position will teach US History and World History at the high school level (9-12) for Spanish Immersion students. See attached job description.
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Job Description:   Family Consumer Science Teacher – Middle School (grades 6-8). Food preparation using microwave, blender, stovetop and oven.  Sewing projects using a sewing machine.  Decision making, healthy choices, peer relationships unit taught.  This position commences on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 or ASAP.
