183 Workdays                              8:30 AM – 12:30 PM                       – 4 hours per day

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid elementary education teaching license in the State of Minnesota or ability to be licensed.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES:
Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA
contract.

POSITION:
Girls Lacrosse, Assistant Coach – $3,570 – Beginning March 1, 2023
Season Dates- April 3, 2023 – June 17, 2022.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Assist the Varsity Head Coach with all aspects of the Centennial High School girls lacrosse program, including but not limited to setting up practices, games, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and meetings, care and maintenance of program equipment, arranging team transportation, working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and competitions.

A strong background in club, high school, or college lacrosse as a participant and/or coach is required. Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.

Such alternatives to the above as the Activities Director may find appropriate and acceptable.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Food Service Assistant – Centennial Middle School
4 hours/day – 175 days/year (includes 4 holidays)
9:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Starting ASAP
Assist cook with food preparation, serving, and cleaning up cafeteria and kitchen.

WAGES/BENEFITS: Consistent with the current Cooks’ Master Agreement. $15.54.

Registered Behavior Technician

Position Overview:
The Behavior Technician provides classroom and behavioral supports for students through analyzing data to identify inappropriate behaviors; planning; implementing and tracking individual behavioral plan; identifying barriers to successful transition; and, facilitating transition plans. Their role is to help IEP teams create plans to manage behaviors that affect a student’s learning. They work with the team to provide a comprehensive approach to behavior management that includes evaluation, data collection, interventions and regular monitoring.

Qualifications:

The Education District requires an applicant to have: Have an associate’s degree in a social services discipline; or
Have two years of supervised experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors as well as co-occuring mental disorders or neurocognitive disorder.
In addition, a Behavior Technician must:Have received a minimum of four hours of training in functional assessment;
Have received 20 hours of instruction in the understanding of the function of behavior;
Have received ten hours of instruction on design of positive practices behavioral support strategies;
Be determined by a behavior professional to have the training and prerequisite skills required to provide positive practices strategies as well as behavior reduction approved intervention to the person who receives behavioral support; and
Be under the direct supervision of a behavior professional.
Experience in child behavior and intervention experience strongly preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between HVED programs and member school district(s).
Competencies:

Must be able to work in team decision-making situations
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Must possess ability to problem-solve
Must possess ability to coordinate with others and lead teams when necessary
Knowledgeable in interpreting and supporting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
Familiar with PBSP (Positive Behavior Support Plan) and BIPs (Behavior Intervention plans)
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Behavior Interventionist Teacher

Description:
Highly qualified Behavior Intervention Specialist with knowledge and skills necessary to assist individuals, groups and systems through the application of positive behavior supports. The Behavior Specialist helps coordinate Functional Assessments of Behavior and Behavior Intervention Plan that address students’ inappropriate behaviors and provide a means to help the students become more academically successful. Behavior Intervention Specialist also provides classroom and school-wide behavior management
strategies.

 

Job Summary: Assist staff in: defining and measuring behavior; understanding principles of reinforcement; teaching new behavior; implementing strategies for weakening behavior; and identifying antecedents.

Facilitate team meetings with the identified student’s teachers and parents as needed

Facilitate team meetings that: design Behavior interventions Plans; address classroom organization, effective instruction, social skills instruction/support, and ethical issues;
Facilitate School-wide Positive Behavioral Support professional development including factors that affect effectiveness including social validity and treatment integrity.

Work with individual teachers, groups of teachers and/or the entire staff on issues such as: crisis intervention, learning and collaboration issues, and factors that can affect development and implementation of interventions.

Promote highly specialized positive behavior interventions in which “at risk” students thrive: behavior instruction that is explicit, intensive, accelerated and provides ample practice.
