Special Education Paraprofessional- 6.5 hrs/day
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of student indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring student under the direct supervision of a teacher, assisting student with transitions, facilitating behavioral redirection, intervention, and assisting in personal cares. Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
The Worthington School District 518 is seeking a Lead Technology Specialist to provide leadership and supervision for the district’s IT Support Technicians. This position will be expected to support technology staff in the initial setup, distribution, and maintenance of all learning devices in a dual platform, assuring all projects and tasks are completed as expected, keeping communication lines open between the entire IT team. In addition, this position would be the first line of support for the district owned video boards.  The person hired for this position is expected to work with Administration, District Directors and Coordinators, and teaching staff on new trends in educational technology.  A flexible work schedule would be required with some evening work.
SECTION II:  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises IT Support Technicians in their daily tasks
Supervises IT Support Technicians in district wide projects
Works collaboratively with the IT Department.
Aid in inventorying, setting up and loading software programs on all devices.
Assist in maintain network and device security along with account management.
Trouble shoot, repair, and maintain all electronic devices.
Reinforce the distribution and collection of the devices throughout the year.
Work with media, students, staff, and administration whenever needed.
Maintain/coordinate the operation of the district’s video boards as well as develop further aspects of use and implementation.
Perform other duties relevant to systems management and/or as assigned.
Provides technical support for students and staff.
Diagnoses technical problems.
Researches and identifies appropriate solutions.
Organizes and prioritizes technical support schedule.
Maintains troubleshooting documentation.
Maintains contact with staff and students to ensure quality level of support.
Interacts with users in non-technical, clear terms.
Adheres to and enforces policies, rules and regulations relating to technology use.
Coordinates moving, installation and setup of technology, classroom technology, audio visual, telephones and peripheral equipment.
Loads and installs software.
Repairs technology equipment.
Determine reassigning or surplus of outdated equipment.
Develops, maintains, and troubleshoots databases for network and web-based software.
Evaluates network needs for staff and students; recommends networking software/hardware components.
Research technical manuals, guides, web sites and user groups.
Contacts vendors to answer user questions and solve technical problems.
Performs diagnostics on technology and related equipment.
Maintains an accurate inventory of hardware and software that belongs to the district and to individual schools in the district.
