ASSISTANT GIRLS GOLF COACH

POSITION:
Assistant Girls Golf Coach – $4,207 – Beginning March 13, 2023

Season Dates: March 20, 2023 – June 17, 2023                     – 3:30 pm Start

Duties: Serve as assistant coach for the Centennial High School Girls Golf program. This may include, but not limited to setting up practices, invitationals, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and games; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and competitions. Preferences: A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred.

Qualifications: A strong background in youth, high school, or club golf as a participant and/or coach is required. Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community. Previous experience as an athlete and/or coach.

Salary: Compensation in accordance with Schedule B; $4,207.

6.5 hr/day- Special Education Paraprofessional
Centennial Elementary School
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, physically transferring students and assisting in ACE instructional job responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Must hold a special education teaching license in the State of Minnesota. Preferred licenses are ABS, SLD, ASD, or EBD.

Learning Resource Teacher

Essential Functions:

Deliver classroom instruction; implement lesson plans on instructional units; develop and determine methods, approaches and instructional units; maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.

Assess and evaluate student performance against lesson plans; determine the need for re-instruction or need for new approach; reinforce information previously taught in the classroom; determine grades for reporting purposes; monitor student performance and behaviors and determine how to approach bad behaviors.

Develop and plan instructional activities; develop and implement lesson plans personalized for individual student needs; assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs); implement student assessments and evaluate results; determine assessment process for instructional units; research topics and materials designed to improve instructional presentations.

Prepare for substitute teachers; communicate with parents and participate in parent/student conferences; participate and prepare for peer evaluation process.

Supervise students during the school day according to the established building schedule; provide indirect supervision during regular school days.

Collaborate with staff in evaluating individual student issues and approaches to instructional units; evaluate new teaching technologies and/or procedures.

Participate in meetings (building staff meetings, departmental meetings, grade level meetings, staff development, open house/orientation) as necessary or required; attend professional development activities.

Director of Finance and Operations

Position Summary:
The Director of Finance & Operations is the Chief Financial Officer for the District and as such is responsible for managing its budgetary and financial affairs, directs all matters related to general business practices and has overall responsibility for the effective administration of the various business policies and practices approved by the School Board. The Director of Operations shall administer the business affairs of the district in such a way as to provide the best possible educational services with the financial resources available.  Areas of responsibility shall include the business office, nutrition services and transportation operations.

Position Requirements: 
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field and extensive experience working as a financial manager in the public sector, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Master’s degree in Business Administration or CPA certification preferred.  Demonstrated organizational ability and human resource leadership skills.  Expertise in financial management and ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial detail. An understanding of technology and procedures.  The possession of superior leadership skills and an exceptional ability to work with other people in the organization to promote the objectives of the system.  An understanding of school system organization and knowledge of the relationship between business principles and their use in achieving educational objectives.
