CENTENNIAL ELEMENTARY

DESCRIPTION:
40 hrs/week. Monday – Friday, 6:15 AM – 10:15 AM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Centennial Elementary

This position will be a float position. Placement will be at Centennial, but will be moved occasionally to fill in at other sites.

August 22 – 26 and workshop weeks will be straight shifts. Split shifts start September 6, 2022.

Provide primary supervision of children, plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, and design/maintain safe and stimulating environments for children. Supervise child care staff. Assist program coordinator with other duties as assigned. Must pass employment background study.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience, school age child care experience, knowledge of social development of school-aged children, good communication and interpersonal skills required, current CPR and first aid certification. Employment subject to successful background study.

WAGES: Begins at $18.77 per hour. Benefits as per the current Kids Club contract.

School Psychologist 1.0 FTE

7-12 Principal

East Central School District is seeking applicants for a full-time Middle-High School Principal for the 2022-23 school year and beyond. Position also includes oversight of the Alternative Learning Center housed on the high school campus.

Provide educational leadership and management oversight including educational programming, curriculum, instruction, staff evaluation, and safety protocols. Position works closely with the Superintendent, Elementary Principal, Activities Direction/Dean of Students to carry out the mission and vision of East Central Public Schools.

 

Success Coach (Spanish)

Position Information:

  • Responsible for working with students, families, and school staff to provide educational support services across the district to help ensure student success and eventual graduation.
  • Work with school staff to identify areas of concern and work with parents and students to address those areas. This may involve home visits at times that are convenient for the family.
  • Work with parents and students regarding school engagement issues, motivation, or other barriers to success.
  • May work with outside agencies to provide information about needed support for parents and students both here and as needed in the collaborative.
  • The work week will be approximately 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with exact schedule and tasks determined by district student needs.
  • Hourly wages depending on education credentials from $16.32/hr to $25.50/hr.
  • Benefits include FICA and PERA contributions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in Spanish Language
  • Must be proficient in English  language spoken locally.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 60 semester credits/AA/AS degree or college graduation preferred.
  • No license is required.
  • Experience interpreting or translating school information is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
