Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in 5-8 Science preferred but other science licensure with ability to obtain an out of field permission is considered.

Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills: Teach 7th and 8th grade science. See attachment

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment: Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA)

This position supports students through IEPs and students in the general population in the areas of social/emotional support. This position works closely with community resources, connecting families to outside resources they may need. The Social Worker will provide 1:1 support along with some small group work. Strong communication skills with individuals, families, and outside agencies is imperative in this role. DESCRIPTION:
.25 FTE – Centennial ECFE is a program for all Centennial families with children between the ages of birth to kindergarten.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Days and Hours: Monday 8:15 – 11:30am; Tuesday 5:30 – 7:45 pm; Friday 8:30 – 10:30 am.
Plans curriculum and daily lesson plans, including selection of content and resources for groups of parents with children between the ages of birth to kindergarten.
Provides relevant education and support to parents to encourage an environment for their healthy growth and development.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATONS (EDUCATION, LICENSE, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
License in Parent and Family Education or Tier 2 license.
Experience facilitating parent groups and knowledge of the Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework and planning curriculum for parent education programs.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary based on placement on teacher salary schedule.
Days and Hours: Monday 8:15 – 11:30am; Tuesday 5:30 – 7:45 pm; Friday 8:30 – 10:30 am.
