Position Overview
The Director of Technology provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all technology systems, infrastructure, and initiatives across ISD 361. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technology management.
Demonstrated experience with network administration (switches, VLANs, wireless enterprise systems) and Active Directory / Group Policy.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls), and data privacy regulations.
Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, including the ability to evaluate them for safe and effective educational use.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to engage confidently with technical staff, administrators, and the community.

This role would involve developing and implementing IEPs, intervention and data collection, compliance and progress monitoring, collaborating with other professionals, families and ensuring students’ progress toward their IEP goals and post-high school goals.
