Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher Specialist

BRIC is seeking a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our team serving eleven school districts in north central Minnesota.
This position provides both direct and indirect services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across a range of educational settings. The successful candidate will work alongside special education teams, general education teachers, educational interpreters, and families to ensure students have full access to instruction and communication.
What You Will Do
● Deliver direct and indirect DHH services aligned with student IEPs
● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in evaluation and IEP development
● Provide staff training and consultation on hearing loss, communication strategies, and classroom supports
● Support implementation of assistive listening devices and related technology
● Travel between member districts with a flexible service delivery model, including tele-practice when appropriate

Qualifications
● Current Minnesota licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Autism Consultant Teacher Specialist

BRIC is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Autism Consultant to support our eleven member districts in north central Minnesota.
This position serves as an itinerant staff, providing consultation, mentoring, programming support, evaluation, and professional development to ensure students with Autism Spectrum Disorder experience meaningful access, growth, and success in school.
What You Will Do
● Provide consultation and coaching to educators and administrators across districts
● Support development and continuous improvement of ASD programming
● Participate in evaluation and eligibility discussions as an ASD specialist
● Mentor teachers and paraprofessionals in effective instructional and behavioral strategies
● Provide district-wide professional development and family education opportunities
● Promote inclusive practices and evidence-based interventions

Safety Manager & Warehouse/Purchsaing Supervisor

This is a job level 12 (hourly range: $34.02-$35.59), twelve month, full time position. The position includes insurance, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.

The person in this position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, supervising and implementing all federal and state mandated safety and fire regulations and codes. As well as supervising and directing purchasing, receiving, and shipping at the District Warehouse.

Applicants should:

Understand federal and state safety and fire regulations and codes
Have the ability to determine safety applications
Have knowledge of hazardous chemicals and substances, asbestos regulations and indoor air quality
Have knowledge and ability to perform bidding, quoting and purchasing procedures
Be able to operate motor vehicles and hold a valid drivers license
Have the ability to supervise, train and evaluate employees
Preference will be given to candidates that have safety management and supervisory experience or education.
