Elementary Principal

The role of the Elementary Principal is to provide effective educational leadership for the assigned elementary school, giving direction and supervision to the educational programs and staff, implementing School Board policies and initiatives, and carrying out the directives of the Superintendent of Schools.  Bemidji Area Schools operates five K-3 elementary schools located in and around Bemidji, Minnesota.  Bemidji Area Schools has a total enrollment of 4,765 students.  Enrollment in the five K-3 schools ranges from 144 to 314 students.

This is a 214 duty day position.  Salary is $128,420.00 with a competitive fringe benefit package.

Emotional Behavior Disorders/Physical Education/Health – Long Term Substitute Teacher

This is a school term, job level 9 ($24.89-$25.25), 7 to 7.5 hours/day position.  A health paraprofessional is responsible for providing care for ill or injured students, students with disabilities, and students with chronic health needs.  The health paraprofessional also provides health screening and maintains communicable disease prevention records.

Technology Integration and Systems Coordinator

Bemidji Area Schools ISD#31 is seeking a Technology Integration & Systems Coordinator. This is a 12-month administrative/supervisory position.

The Technology Integration & Systems Coordinator has responsibility for providing instructional support integrating technology and online resources into classroom learning objectives; providing coordination of district technology hardware, software and end-user support; implementing the district communication strategy including management of the district website; online safety and security for the district, including but not limited to firewall, content filtering, cyber security training, threat detection/response; and supervise all technology support staff. The district is seeking candidates with the following:

1. Effective communicator, both verbal and written.
2. Effective motivator and organizer.
3. Experience assisting instructional staff on the integration of curriculum and technology.
4. Technology planning and design experience.
5. Ability to trouble shoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems.
6. Knowledge of state and federal rules and laws that apply to school hardware, software, and network access security.
7. Ability to supervise and direct the work of technology staff.

Position Available:
This position begins no later than March 1, 2024.

Compensation:
This is a 12-month position. The annual salary range for this position is $97,705 to $108,561 dependent upon qualifications and experience with a competitive fringe benefit package which includes health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) match, Health Care Savings Plan (HCSP) contribution, etc.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The East Grand Forks School District’s main office is located in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 1,905 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  A competitive compensation and benefits package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
