2025-26 Graduate Teaching Fellowships

Minnesota State University, Mankato

Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education).  Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Physical Education/DAPE.

Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2025, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply.  Application deadline:  March 24 or until filled.

Teaching Fellow positions are available in the following Minnesota Educators Partnership (MEP) districts:

Middle/High School Physical Education/DAPE, LeSueur-Henderson Public Schools

Choir Director

A full-time (1.00 FTEs) position as a Choir Director is available at East High School beginning August 2025, for the 2025-26 school year.

Summary of Duties:
This position conducts 9th grade mixed ensemble, auditioned Concert Choir, voice lessons and sectionals. Responsible for a co-curricular show/jazz choir which meets before school.

Qualifications:
Valid MN licensure in Classroom/Vocal Music

Salary Range:
$49,591 – $88,577 (based on the MTA salary schedule)

Summary of Duties:
Mankato Area Public Schools seeks an inspiring elementary art teacher who is responsible for teaching art to students in grades K-5 and assists the staff of the school in the improvement and appreciation of art instruction. Candidates should help students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and creativity throughout art education. This position does require travel between Mankato area elementary school locations to provide general art instruction.

Qualifications Required:
MN licensure in Visual Arts is required.

Salary Range:
