Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Position Summary:
This Preschool Teacher will work in the Bright Beginnings pre-kindergarten program. The Bright Beginnings preschool program provides a developmentally appropriate environment that stimulates student development and mastery using the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress for cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy and physical/motor development of 4-year-olds. This position will work with one AM Section (8:15-10:45) and one PM Section (12:15-2:45). Each section meets for 2.5 hours, 5 days per week. Additional calendar days are devoted to student orientation, staff work days, and professional development. School Readiness is an inclusive educational setting serving 16 students/section. The successful candidate will work as a team member to create a warm and welcoming environment for children, their families and professional colleagues.

Qualifications:
A valid Minnesota teaching license in early childhood is required. Demonstrated use of research-based practices and approaches to ensure all learners achieve at the highest levels.

Position Requirements:
Successful 2 years of experience in partnering with preschool families around preparing young children for school readiness. Successful candidate must demonstrate ability to work as a team member in a culture of excellence to deliver programs that address the positive development of children and families in diverse populations. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills required.

Schedule:
1.0 FTE

Salary:
Based on candidate’s education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement.

Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, purchasing process and vendor communications for the district including troubleshooting technical issues for requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoice entry and check processing, assisting with issuing purchasing cards, review and correcting entries, recommending changes in procedures to improve processes and efficiencies, training new employees in the accounts payable processes, and ensuring department deadlines for processing accounts payable are met.

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; two-year degree in accounting preferred. A minimum of two years of previous experience in accounts payable, finance records management, or computerized accounting systems is beneficial.

Other Skills & Abilities: 
The position requires accuracy, efficiency, flexibility, and good interpersonal communication skills with excellent computer & organizational skills.  Exercises independent judgement on questions and information; basic understanding of accounting and district operations as it pertains to accounts payable; performing basic mathematical calculations accurately; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships wiht the public and staff; understanding of protocols related to data privacy. Requires attention to detail, precision and accuracy in accordance with set deadlines. Consistent and reliable attendance.

Hours/Schedule:
52 weeks / 5 days per week / 8 hours per day / 7:30AM – 4:00PM

Rate of Pay:
B-2-3 / $21.59 – $24.57 depending on experience

Director of Special Services

Position Summary: The Director of Special Services performs complex professional and administrative work planning, directing and supervising the development, implementation and operation of an effective, total instructional program for students who receive special education services, Section 504, and students receiving other related service including designated state and federal programs, ensuring the compliance of the program with local, state and federal regulations. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Superintendent. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department.

Position Requirements: The Director of Special Services must demonstrate accomplished leadership skills, excellent organizational skills, highly developed communications skills, and successful supervision and management experience with multiple programs. Director of Special Education Administrative Licensure is required. Minimum of two years of successful administrative experience is preferred.

Other Skills & Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, rules and obligations of a special education provider, comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of regular and special education administration; comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of the School District; comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and program development for special students; thorough knowledge of staff evaluation criteria and directives of special education programming; thorough skill in the use of personal computers and related software packages, hardware and peripheral equipment; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in both oral and written forms; ability to develop and present ideas effectively, orally and in written form; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with school officials, staff, Board, parents and the general public. Must understand and comply with all protocols related to data privacy and mandated reporting. Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

Rate of Pay:
E-8-1 // $107,827 – $175,776 depending on experience

Speech/Language Pathologist – 1.0 FTE

1.0 FTE Speech / Language Pathologist.  This position commences on approximately 8/25/25 with the start of the 25-26 school year.

Qualifications: 
Knowledge and experience providing speech/language services to students.  Ability to administer assessments to determine qualification based on Minnesota Criteria for speech/language services.  Ability to write IEP/IFSP goals and keep accurate records.  Knowledge of due process procedures.  Ability to collect, interpret and report data. EL Teacher – 1.0 FTE- 5 Positions

Job Description: 1.0 FTE EL Teacher at Faribault High School, 5 positions for the 2025-2026 school year. These positions will teach a few self-contained EL language development classes in reading, writing and grammar. They will also be expected to assist upper level EL students with vocabulary development in content areas team teaching in Intermediate Algebra and Geometry.

Licensure: State of Minnesota ESL licensed teacher. Alternatively, if you wish to pursue EL teaching with a different teaching license, an Out-of-Field permission will be requested on your behalf, or if you have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university and are interested in exploring teaching as a career, we are happy to discuss options to help you obtain a teaching license qualifying you to become a teacher and start a new rewarding career.
