LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The La Crescent-Hokah School Board seeks a superintendent with strong leadership skills in:
- Demonstrating a commitment to transparency and ethical decision-making, fostering trust with the school board, staff, and community through consistent honesty, and cultivates a culture of kindness, respect, and responsibility
- Strategically distributes responsibilities to build capacity within the organization, while maintaining clear lines of accountability to ensure effective execution
- Building and leading a high-performing leadership team, exemplifying collaboration and alignment to achieve district-wide goals, and promotes hard work and continuous improvement among both students and educators
- Setting and implementing educational priorities, as well as creating and executing strategic plans, driving measurable improvements in student outcomes to guide the district in preparing students for a dynamic global environment
- Demonstrating in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the unique needs and requirements of special education programs
- Maintaining a visible and approachable presence, utilizing strong communication skills and proven abilities in human relations to actively engage with all stakeholders, building strong relationships and fostering open communication
SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting salary range of $145,000 – $165,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute. Additional benefits available may include Health, Dental, Life, and LTD insurances; VEBA HRA contribution, and 403(b) contribution.
