This is a full-time school-year position at the Minnesota State Academies (school year plus some additional workdays). The Student Life Director provides leadership and direction for MSA’s Student Life programs on both campuses (MSAB and MSAD), ensuring that programming is designed and implemented consistent with the Academies’ mission and strategic plans.
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, manage, direct, and supervise Student Life services on two campuses (MSAB and MSAD) for students who are deaf/hard-of-hearing, deafblind, or blind/visually-impaired, which includes, but is not limited to: student dormitories, residential transportation, recreation and after school programs, athletics, student organizations, and programming in support of students’ educational growth. This position is also responsible to manage student discipline campus-wide during the evening hours, ensuring that services are provided in a safe and positive environment.
Work Shift/Work Hours: Varies –Standard hours are mostly during the day shift, but evening hours are needed frequently (student activities, observation of staff, responses to student/staff needs)
Days of Work: Monday – Friday – Some weekends may be required (student/school events)

Salary Range: $36.10 – $52.26 / hourly
