ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The South St. Paul Public Schools’ main office is located in South St. Paul, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 3,000 students.

Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  The current superintendent’s base salary for the 2021-2022 school year is $185,677. The final salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.

Job Description:
This position will provide high-quality, safe, and engaging classroom environments for 3-5-year-old students in the Forest Lake Area Schools half day and full day preschool program by planning, managing, and implementing research-based curricula to ensure developmentally appropriate instruction that aligns with the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress for individual student success.

Hours per week: varies      Days per week:  Monday – Friday         Weeks per year: 31

Any specific qualifications or licenses required?
Preferred current MN Teaching license in Early Childhood, Birth to 3rd grade, or Pre-Primary. Experience with Big Day for PreK, Pyramid Model, Desired Results Developmental Profile, and Early Childhood Indicators of Progress.
Additional Information:

Work Schedule: 29 hours per week. 8:00-4:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 4-5 year olds, 9-11:30 Tuesday and Thursday for 3 year olds. Additional prep outside these hours.

Worthington High School is seeking paraprofessionals to work with students in our Special Education Programs.  Candidates must have a positive attitude, be able to implement student programs, maintain confidentiality, work as a member of a team, supervise students at lunch, and be patient and understanding.  Applicants should be able to assist licensed staff and perform duties as assigned.  Student transportation to or from school in a school van might also be an added duty.
