MN New Country School (MNCS) (Kindergarten-12th Grade Public Charter School) – Henderson, MN is located in Sibley County and currently enrolls approximately 220 students.  MN New Country School offers experiential learning in a teacher led, project-based learning environment.  Learning opportunities at MNCS emphasize exploring the world through project-based learning.

These are benefits eligible positions. These positions are considered Full-time and the days worked are student contact days with some Professional Development work days throughout the year and in the summer.

Interim Superintendent

Interim Opportunity – Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City is seeking an interim superintendent for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year.

Application Deadline: October 15, 2021

Position Description: The interim superintendent is responsible for all functions of providing leadership to the school district. A valid Minnesota superintendent license is required.

Location: This position will be a floating position and will work where most needed throughout the Cooperative’s nine alternative programs.

Position: This is a 1.0 FTE position for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. This is a one-year position. The need for continuing this position will be assessed at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

Background Information: Meeker and Wright Special Education Cooperative operates nine different alternative programs in five locations. Each of these unique programs provides opportunities for our youth to grow and learn in a setting that best suits their current needs. Our staff work to provide positive and effective learning environments for each student based on these needs.

Background Information: Village Ranch Alternative Program is an educational facility on the grounds of Village Ranch, Inc. group home with staff dedicated to providing the youth served and their families, the support and skills they need to rebuild themselves. This program serves males in grades 5 -12.

Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Special Education in one or more areas.

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).
