SUMMARY: Under the leadership of District Technology Coordinator, provide technology support of district technology including: Apple and PC computers, laptops, tablets, iPads, printers, presentation devices, classroom technology, staff and student technology, telecommunication, and all related application systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following and other duties as assigned:
Support district technology: Provide technical support in the maintenance, troubleshooting and use of a variety of systems; Apple Mac and Windows desktops and laptops, iPad, Smartboards, projectors, sound enhancement systems, wired and wireless networks, phones, security systems, food service systems, copy and printing systems; and district server systems.
Support district applications: Provide technical support for a variety of application across multiple operating systems; Mac OS X, Windows, IOS, VMWare, Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Student Information Systems, Library System, Microsoft Office Applications, Schoology, Windows 7 , Windows 8, cloud based applications, testing applications, building security, database applications and network monitoring applications.
Ability to process work requests; from receipt to completion using communications, prioritization, technical, trouble shooting and documentation skills. Develop documentation and self-help materials, to support district and building technology.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, document work and develop process documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
