Position Summary:
This position is for ECSE Teachers (ages 0-5).  The position performs professional work providing a broad range of consulting, teaching and direct instructional services to children with special needs and their families.  Applicants should demonstrate flexibility in providing professional work in a variety of settings; i.e. homes, daycares, self-contained preschool classrooms, co-taught preschool classrooms, and community-based preschool environments.  The ECSE teacher often provides oversight of a classroom paraprofessional(s), and networks closely with all related services professionals including community agencies.  The position includes all duties of an ECSE teacher, including special education evaluations and ongoing assessments; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications:
MN Teaching License in the area of Early Childhood Special Education or related services

Full-Time (1.0 FTE) School Counselor – Faribault Middle School

Summer Childcare Paraeducator

Summary:

The School Age Summer Childcare Paraeducator will assist in the implementation of school age child care Out-of-School Time (OST) programming for children in grades K – 8 by providing supervised activities that address the physical, social, mental, and emotional needs of participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate activities and environment for school age children
  • Communicate and maintain good working relationships with school personnel, the OST Manager, Site Lead, YE Lead, staff, parents, students, and the public
  • Set up the OST space including pushing/pulling cabinets with toys and activities and ensuring that these materials are accessible to participants
  • Supervise, lead, and participate in arts and crafts, games, gym/outdoor activities, swimming activities and field trips
  • Work with all program participants as appropriate
  • Assist in maintaining program records
  • Prepare and serve snacks
  • Assist in maintaining program records.  This includes ensuring that specific behavior management plans are followed and supporting documentation is completed.
  • Complete light clean-up including wiping down tables and sweeping/mopping small areas
  • Understand and follow all District and OST policies and guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required
  • Open and close the OST facilities as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Superintendent

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a PreK-12 school district. This individual supervises the building principal, and also serves as Directors of Community Education, Food Service, and Transportation.

Elementary Summer Targeted Services Paraprofessionals

Summer Targeted Services Paraprofessionals to support the teacher in providing

services to a section of 1st through 5th grade at-risk students from 8:30-11:30 am,

Monday through Thursday. Paraprofessional hours for the program will be 8:15-

11:30 am for a total of 3.25 hours per day.  The program will run from July 26, 2021,

through August 12, 2021.

Program to include: learner-focused curriculum, hands on experiential activities, social and personal skill development, and possibly cross age groupings.
