Position Description
Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton Public School District is seeking an Interim Superintendent for the 2021-22 school year. Candidates must possess licensure as a Superintendent in the State of Minnesota or demonstrate their ability to secure licensure by September 1, 2021. Previous experience as a superintendent is preferred but not required.
Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton Public Schools Office is located in Janesville, Minnesota. The school district serves approximately 710 students from Pre-K through grade 12. All students are served at the Janesville site located at 110 East 3rd Street in Janesville, MN.
Consideration will be given to one year, full time or part-time interim candidates.

Physical Education/Health Teacher Long Term Substitute (School Year 2021-2022)

This position is a Special Education Paraprofessional at our Transitions High School, which is a part of Spring Lake Park High School. The role will be helping support students with Developmental Cognitive Disorders ages 18-21.
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to…
under the supervision of a Special Education teacher, implementing behaviors plans customized and personalized for students to reinforce preferred behavior;
performing general data collection tasks for the purpose of progress monitoring student success;
having the ability and passion to work with students with emotional/behavior issues is essential;

working effectively with an interdisciplinary team, while having the ability to work independently;

Provide classroom instruction to students in 6th grade with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Studies with the potential of Science and Math.
Requirements:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Experience in utilizing an inquiry approach to instruction across all content areas and a background in STEM. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
